CPE Series Bus ConverterLondonderry, NH – August 13, 2025 – Semiconductor Circuits, Inc. offers a new line of low cost fully regulated 12V 240 Watt 36-75Vin Cool Power Technologies 8th brick DC-DC converters designed for use as intermediate bus converters industrial, solar, test, telecom/communications, POE, networking, data-processing, railway, military, medical and aerospace applications. This updated line of high efficiency (94.5% typical) 240W output modules offers excellent thermal performance & can directly replace larger quarter brick modules saving space and cost (identical pin out and functionality.) These converters feature an industry standard 36-75Vin nominal input voltage range and comes 5 pin bus converter and an 8 pin version that includes sense and trim pins. The modules are available in open frame design or optional integral baseplate for improved thermal performance. This module is compliant with DOSA footprint and interface standards. These modules meet UL 62638-1, EN/IEC 62638-1+A11, CSA C22.2 No. 62638-1 requirements and are UL94 V-0 flammability rated. The modules meet or exceed the typical industry requirements including no load operation with minimal minimum capacitance required and 2X nominal input voltage transient capability.

Other features include: fixed-frequency operation, auto-restart Overvoltage, Overcurrent & Overtemperature protections, undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and remote sense and output trim on 8 pin versions. Remote ON/OFF is standard with positive or negative logic options available.

CPE Series Bus ConverterLondonderry, NH – March 28, 2025 – Semiconductor Circuits, Inc. expands and improves it’s line of 4:1 input (9-36, 18-72) Cool Power Technologies 8th brick DC-DC converters designed for use in industrial, solar, test, telecom/communications, POE, networking, data-processing, railway, military, medical and aerospace applications. This updated line of high efficiency (92% typical) 120W output modules has significantly improved thermal performance & can directly replace larger quarter brick modules saving space and cost (identical pin out and functionality.) These converters feature an industry standard 9-36Vdc or 18-72Vdc (12, 24 or 48Vdc nominal) input voltage ranges and come in 3.3V@36A, 5V@24V and 12V@10A versions. The modules are available as an open frame design or with an optional baseplate for those applications where conduction cooling is required or preferred.
