100W 4:1 Input 5V DC-DC 8th Brick Converters
Londonderry, NH – March 21, 2024 – Semiconductor Circuits, Inc. expands and improves it’s line of 4:1 input Cool Power Technologies DC-DC converters designed for use in industrial, solar, test, telecom/communications, networking, data-processing, railway, military, medical and aerospace applications. These 100W, 5VDC output modules are available from stock or can be customized to your application requirements with minimal additional lead time. These converters feature industry standard 9-36Vdc or 18-75Vdc input voltage ranges and come in a standard 8th brick module. The 8th brick modules are available as an open frame design or with an optional baseplate for those applications where conduction or improved convection cooling is required or preferred. These modules are compliant with DOSA footprint and interface standards. Please visit www.dcdc.com for technical datasheets & to order samples or call/email with your requirements.
These modules meet UL 62638-1 safety requirements and are UL94 V-0 flammability rated. The modules meet or exceed the typical industry requirements including no load/no minimum capacitance operation and 2X nominal input voltage transient capability.
Other features include: fixed-frequency operation, auto-restart OVP, OCP & OTP protections, UVLO and remote sense. Remote ON/OFF is standard with positive or negative logic options available.
Sample quantities can be ordered directly from stock via the website. Please contact sales@dcdc.com or call (603) 893-2330. We will meet or beat any published distributor pricing. Other output voltages (3.3V – 48V) and power levels in the 4:1 input series are available – visit www.dcdc.com for more information. We also welcome quick-turn modifications and custom configurations to meet our customer’s particular requirements.

Londonderry, NH – October 2, 2019 – Semiconductor Circuits, Inc. expands and improves it’s line of 4:1 input (9-36, 18-72) Cool Power Technologies 8th brick DC-DC converters designed for use in industrial, solar, test, telecom/communications, networking, data-processing, railway, military, medical and aerospace applications. This updated line of high efficiency (92% typical) 24VDC output modules has significantly improved thermal performance & can directly replace larger quarter brick modules saving space and cost (identical pin out and functionality.) These converters feature an industry standard 9-36Vdc or 18-72Vdc (12, 24 or 48Vdc nominal) input voltage ranges and come in 3A (72W), 4A (96W) and soon 5A (120W) versions. The modules are available as an open frame design or with an optional baseplate for those applications where conduction cooling is required or preferred. This module is compliant with DOSA footprint and interface standards. Please visit
Londonderry, NH – September 14, 2017 – Semiconductor Circuits, Inc. introduces the CPE6D24, CPE6R24 and CPE5R48 “Cool Power Technologies” wide input range 8th brick DC-DC converters designed for use in power radio and other applications where it is intended to directly replace larger quarter bricks modules (identical pin out and functionality.) The converter features an industry standard 18-36Vdc or 36-72Vdc (24 or 48Vdc nominal) input voltage ranges and have outputs trimmable from 21-34Vdc (model dependent – see datasheet.) The modules have a typical full load efficiency of 93% which allows for use over a wide ambient temperature range with minimal derating. The open frame design is also available with an optional baseplate for those applications where conduction cooling is required or preferred. This module is compliant with DOSA footprint and interface standards.
