CPE2U36 “Cool Power Technologies” 48V, 2A wide input range 8th brick DC-DC converter is available to ship from stock in new lower height 11.8mm max open frame module. This module provides up to 96W of power and is ideal for power over Ethernet or other distributed power architecture applications. This module is DOSA compliant (footprint & interface.) It has a wide input voltage range of 18 to 72VDC (9-36Vin version available on request) & provides 2250VDC input to output isolation.

The CPE2U36 is a high efficiency module with efficiencies exceeding 90%. It is safety approved to EN 60950 and is UL94 V-0 flammability rated. The module complies with all of the typical industry requirements including no load/no capacitance operation and 100V/100mS input voltage transient.

These open frame (through-hole or SMT) or baseplated modules provide up to 72W of output power @ output voltages of 5.0, and 12Vdc – ideal for distributed power architecture applications or as a fully regulated intermediate bus converter. These modules are compliant with DOSA 16th brick footprint and interface standards. The converters have a wide input voltage range of 18 to 72 VDC (9-36 Vin upon request) & provide 2250 VDC input to output isolation.

The CPT 4:1 series offers output voltages from 3.3V to 48V and input voltage ranges of 9-36Vin or 18-72Vin. Other power levels and output voltages in the 4:1 input series are available upon request. We also welcome quick-turn modifications and custom configurations to meet our customer’s particular requirements.

The CPT 4:1 input series meets EN 60950 basic insulation requirements and is RoHS III Directive 2015/863/EU and REACH 1907/2006 – 205 SVHC compliant. The converter features an industry standard 18-36Vdc or 36-72Vdc (24 or 48Vdc nominal) input voltage ranges and have outputs trimmable from 21-34Vdc (model dependent – see datasheet.) The modules have a typical full load efficiency of 93% which allows for use over a wide ambient temperature range with minimal derating. The open frame design is also available with an optional baseplate for those applications where conduction cooling is required or preferred. This module is compliant with DOSA footprint and interface standards.

The CPE6D24, CPE6R24 and CPE5R48 meet EN 60950 basic insulation requirements and is UL94 V-0 flammability rated. The modules comply with all of the typical industry requirements including no load operation and 2X nominal input voltage transient capability.

These open frame or optional encapsulated modules provide up to 30W of output power @ an output voltage of 3.3V or 5VDC (12V & 15V versions are also available – consult factory.) These modules are ideal for industrial or distributed power architecture applications. These module are compliant with the standard 1×1 & 1×2 pinout and interface standards. It has a wide input voltage range of 4.5 to 9 VDC (3-9 Vin for the 3.3V version) & provides 2250 VDC input to output isolation in open frame configuration, 1600VDC for the encapsulated module.

The 5Vin CP30 series is ROHS 3 Directive 2015/863/EU Compliant, meets UL/EN 60950-1, 2nd edition requirements and is UL94 V-0 flammability rated. The module complies with all of the typical industry requirements including no load operation, 15V input voltage transient and pre-biased load startup.
